Update on Google Message

We wanted to alert you a mass message went out to many sites yesterday alerting websites that the Google spiders were "not able to crawl your site".  Here is the message we received:

"Googlebot can't access your site.

Over the last 24 hours, Googlebot encountered 33 errors while attempting to access your robots.txt. To ensure that we didn't crawl any pages listed in that file, we postponed our crawl. Your site's overall robots.txt error rate is 100.0%."

According to Matt Cutts this message is nothing to worry about it is an "issue" on their end at Google. Please see his full email below.

Message from Matt Cutts at Google:

"Hey everyone, please don't worry about this message at this point. Enough people are getting this message that I suspect it's an issue on our end.

I've got an email out to our webmaster tools team, and we'll figure out what's going on."

Thanks,
Matt Cutts

We hope this will help to further clarify this message to you. If we have any other updates we will share those with you.

Have a great weekend!
